Professor Dmitri Alexeev is a Piano Professor and Chair of Advanced Piano at the Royal College of Music (RCM). A renowned pianist, he began his training at the Central Music School of the Moscow Conservatory at age six. He won first prize at the Leeds International Piano Competition, marking the first such achievement by a Russian artist. His career spans prestigious performances with orchestras like the London Symphony Orchestra, St. Petersburg Philharmonic, and Carnegie Hall engagements. Notably, he premiered Penderecki's Piano Concerto in Beijing (2004). He collaborates with leading conductors including Ashkenazy, Boulez, and Gergiev.
