Germán Clavijo

Germán Clavijo is a Viola Tutor at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London. He has held significant roles including Principal Viola of the Orquesta Ciudad de Granada and Artistic Director of the Ensemble Instrumental de Granada. Currently, he is a member of the London Symphony Orchestra, performing globally under renowned conductors.

Education: Trained with Ljerko Spiller in Buenos Aires, followed by studies at the Guildhall School with Jack Glickman and Rachel Podger. Chamber music studies included work with David Takeno and members of prestigious quartets like the Amadeus Quartet, alongside masterclasses at the Banff Centre for the Arts.
