Gerald Davis

Gerald Davis is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at the School of Dentistry, Meharry Medical College. His research focuses on autoimmune diseases, with a particular emphasis on oral health and community-based interventions. He is affiliated with collaborative institutional programs like the Meharry-Vanderbilt-TSU Cancer Partnership and the Vanderbilt-Miami-Meharry Center of Excellence in Precision Medicine and Population Health.

His work spans clinical translational research, public health, and health disparities, particularly targeting African-American populations at risk for cardiometabolic diseases. He has contributed to publications on interprofessional education programs and church-based lifestyle interventions.
