Gerald Auten

Gerald Auten is a Senior Lecturer in Studio Art at Dartmouth College, where he teaches drawing, architecture, and senior seminar courses. He also serves as the Director of The Studio Art Exhibition Program.

• Education: B.F.A. in Drawing and Painting from University of Iowa, M.F.A. in Painting from Washington University-St. Louis, M.Arch from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee

His research interests focus on studio art practices, with an emphasis on drawing and architectural design. He contributes to academic discourse through his leadership in curating studio art exhibitions and mentoring students in senior seminar projects.
