Jason Zimmer

Jason Zimmer is a Professor of Foundation Studies at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), serving since 2005. He has held leadership roles such as Chair of the Admissions Council (2008–09) and Director of Drawing Works (2016). His work focuses on art education, curation, and exhibition management, with extensive experience organizing student and faculty exhibitions. Zimmer holds an M.F.A. in painting from the New York Academy of Art and a B.F.A. in art from McKendree College.

Zimmer has been a juror for national student competitions and serves on the Gunnison Arts Center board. His work emphasizes accessibility and diversity in art, reflected in his roles on SCAD's Diversity Committee (2009–10) and Drawing Minor Committee (2008–15).
