George Brown is a part-time lecturer at the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Law and Common Law Faculty. He combines his academic role with being Principal of Integral North and President & CEO of Mooney’s Bay Ventures Inc.

Research interests span urban legal frameworks, community economic development strategies, and public policy implementation. His work bridges legal practice with municipal governance and sustainable development.
Professional highlights include serving as Chair of United Way East Ontario’s Board of Directors, nine years as President of the Ottawa Community Loan Fund, and nine-year tenure as City and Regional Councillor in Ottawa.
