Dr. Francisco Masdeu Mayans is an Associate Professor at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB) within the Department of Physics under the Higher Polytechnic School. He holds degrees in Chemistry (University of Barcelona), Materials Engineering (Polytechnic University of Catalonia), and a PhD in Physics (UIB).

Teaching areas include Materials II/III, Metallic and Synthetic Materials, Stone Materials, and Final Degree Projects. He has taught at the UIB since 2007, covering construction pathology, quality control, and materials engineering.
