Florence Halstead

Dr. Florence Halstead is a Research Fellow at the University of Glasgow's School of Education, focusing on the intersection of climate change, education, and community collaboration. She is part of the GALLANT project (£10.2m), funded by NERC, and affiliated with the Centre for Sustainable Solutions. Her work emphasizes participatory action research and place-based initiatives to foster climate resilience and youth engagement.

Her research explores how spatial, temporal, and cultural contexts shape environmental perceptions and behaviors, with a focus on collective action to address climate challenges.
