Felicity Mendoza

Dr. Felicity Mendoza is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Management at Sheffield Business School, Sheffield Hallam University. She currently serves as Course Leader for the BA (Hons) Business program, overseeing its operations and coordinating with module leaders, tutors, and alumni. Her career began as a Research Associate in 2009, managing a commercial student consultancy unit before transitioning to teaching while completing her Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA). She holds qualifications including MA PGCLTHE, FHEA, and a BA (Hons).

Teaching responsibilities include Global MBA, BA Business Management, and modules such as Enterprise & Entrepreneurship, Leadership & Strategy, and Research Approaches & Designs. Her research focuses on underrepresented entrepreneurs, women’s entrepreneurship, nascent ventures, and sustainability. She supervises PhD candidates exploring topics like women’s entrepreneurship in Sri Lanka and resilience of healthcare workers in Gaza.

Her publications emphasize entrepreneurship identity, educational consultancy, and gender dynamics in business. She has held diverse roles including Postgraduate Course Leader, Academic Adviser, and Work Experience Mentor, reflecting her commitment to both academic and practical dimensions of business education.
