Dr. Felicity Brown is a Stipendiary Lecturer in English at Balliol College, Somerville College, and Wadham College within the University of Oxford's Faculty of English. Her research focuses on 16th- and 17th-century English literature, particularly the reception of classical and medieval texts. Current projects include a book on Arthurian legend adaptations in early modern culture, alongside studies of Shakespeare and Dryden. She contributes to teaching and research in Early Modern and 18th-century literature.
Her publications explore topics such as miniature Shakespearean books, Gascoigne's poetics, and chivalric civic virtues in early modern England. She is affiliated with the Faculty of English Language & Literature at the St Cross Building, Manor Road, Oxford OX1 3UL.
