FILIP Ignác Csaba is a Professor in the Department of Music Performance and Pedagogy at the Faculty of Music, Transilvania University of Brașov. His academic work focuses on early music performance and pedagogy, with specialized expertise in Renaissance and Baroque repertoire from Transylvania.
His research spans Early Music, Renaissance Music, Baroque Music, Transylvanian Music, and Interpretative Stylistics, examining historical performance practices and stylistic nuances within Transylvanian musical heritage.
Professor Csaba has directed major artistic projects including:

- The 2017 Miercurea Ciuc Early Music Festival featuring international artists from seven countries.
He collaborates extensively with the Codex Early Music Ensemble and National Madrigal Choir, performing at venues including the George Enescu Festival.
