Jason Moy

Jason Moy serves as an Adjunct Lecturer at DePaul University's School of Music, where he directs the Baroque Ensemble, coordinates Mixed Chamber Music, and instructs harpsichord. A Chicago native, he is recognized as one of the region's leading early keyboard specialists with an active international performance career spanning the United States, Canada, and Europe.

Research and Performance Focus: Moy specializes in Baroque and Renaissance keyboard repertoire with deep expertise in harpsichord performance practice. His work emphasizes historically informed techniques and the structural expressivity of early instruments, frequently presented through public lectures and media features exploring the harpsichord's unique sonic capabilities.

Ensemble Leadership: As founding member of the award-winning Trio Speranza and current Artistic Director of Ars Musica Chicago, Moy maintains extensive collaborations with premier period-instrument ensembles including Music of the Baroque, Newberry Consort, and Chicago Chamber Musicians. His performances have been broadcast internationally via BBC Radio 3 and locally on WFMT98.7, with notable appearances at the York Early Music Festival and annual Boston Early Music Festivals since 2013.
