FENG Guiyun is an Assistant Professor of Operations Management at the Lee Kong Chian School of Business (LKCSB), Singapore Management University (SMU). A full-time faculty member since January 2019, their research focuses on the Digital Economy, Smart Transportation systems, and Supply Chain Management. Notably recognized as an Urban Fellow (2023) and recipient of the MOE Tier 1 Grant (2022), their work bridges theoretical operations research with practical applications in urban mobility and platform economies.
Education includes a Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Minnesota (2018), a Ph.D. in Management Science from City University of Hong Kong (2014), and a B.S. in Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China (2010). Their research portfolio includes studies on ride-hailing ecosystems, discrete choice models, and project portfolio collaboration strategies.
Teaching excellence is evident through SMU’s Most Promising Teacher nomination (2022) and consistent inclusion in the LKCSB Dean’s Teaching Honour List (2021–2022). Current research explores asset rental programs for expanding platform capacity and strategic alliances in R&D collaborations.
