Eunmi Shim

Eunmi Shim is a Professor in the Department of Music Theory, Harmony, and Ear Training at Berklee College of Music. She is an award-winning author and musicologist, renowned for her book Lennie Tristano: His Life in Music, which received the Association for Recorded Sound Collections Award and the Bronze Prize from the Independent Publisher Book Award. Her research focuses on jazz history, music theory, and American music studies. Shim is also a contributor to The Grove Dictionary of American Music and actively teaches online courses such as Music Application and Theory.
