George W Russell Jr.

George W. Russell Jr. is a jazz pianist, composer, and educator serving as Chair of the Harmony and Jazz Composition Department at Berklee College of Music. Previously, he held roles as a professor of Harmony and Piano at Berklee. He has been honored with prestigious awards including the Most Distinguished Faculty Award and Curriculum Development Award. Russell holds a B.S. from Duquesne University and an M.M. from the New England Conservatory of Music.
