Ermira Kasapi

Ermira Kasapi is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Spitzer School of Architecture, City College of New York. She holds a B.Arch from the same institution (2015). Her professional experience includes roles as Senior Project Designer at Steinberg Hart (2019–present) and Project Designer at Holzman Moss Bottino Architecture (2013–2019). Her research focuses on timber architecture, acoustic engineering for performing arts spaces, and culturally impactful urban projects.

Notable achievements include the 2024 AIA Wisconsin Special Recognition Award for the Children’s Museum of Eau Claire and multiple accolades for the Hamel Music Center at UW-Madison, including the 2022 PCI Design Awards Best Theater Building. She is an Associate Member of the American Institute of Architects.
