Emre Demirkaya

Emre Demirkaya is Assistant Professor and Roy & Audry Fancher Faculty Fellow in Business Analytics & Statistics at the University of Tennessee's Haslam College of Business. His methodological research develops statistical tools for high-dimensional data with applications in computational biology and machine learning.

His award-winning work includes novel approaches for model selection under dimensionality constraints and optimization algorithms for large-scale inference. Teaching responsibilities include graduate courses in statistical computing and machine learning foundations.
