Professor Emily Gowers is a Fellow of St John's College and Professor of Latin Literature at the University of Cambridge's Faculty of Classics. With academic affiliations spanning Trinity College (research fellow), UCL, Princeton, and Stanford, she specializes in Latin literature from Plautus to Apuleius, satire, material culture, and classical reception.
