Ellen M. Taylor is a Professor of English at the University of Maine at Augusta (UMA), with affiliations at the Augusta campus, Rockland location, and the Maine State Prison. Her academic roles include teaching creative writing, literature, and courses on memoir and gender studies. She holds a B.A. from Tulane University (1982), an M.A. from the University of New Hampshire (1985), and an Ed.D. in Language, Literacy, and Culture from Harvard University (1997).
