Elizabeth Wooster Colpean

Elizabeth Wooster Colpean serves as Lesson Instructor for Harp in the Music Department at Calvin University while maintaining her position as principal harpist of the Grand Rapids Symphony since 2000, where she frequently performs as a soloist. Previously, she held the principal harp position with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra.

Ms. Colpean's performance career spans major international venues including the Pacific Music Festival, National Repertory Orchestra, Tanglewood Music Festival (2000 distinguished alumni concert), Seventh World Harp Congress in Prague, and the 2002 American Harp Society Conference where she performed a two-harp recital with her mother. Her artistic specialization focuses on harp performance within orchestral frameworks and contemporary repertoire.
