Prof. Edgar Löw is a Full Professor of Accounting at Frankfurt School of Finance and Management and an Honorary Professor at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, appointed in 2005. He has been a visiting lecturer at WHU since 2002, teaching courses on international consolidated statements, group accounting, tax accounting, and financial institutions accounting. He previously held roles at Deutsche Bank AG, KPMG (as Manager of the Banking & Finance Policy Department), and Ernst & Young (as Head of Financial Accounting Advisory Services). Since 2018, he coordinates the European Banking Authority's Working Group on Supervisory, Governance, Accounting, Reporting, and Disclosure. His teaching is highly regarded by students, and he maintains an extensive publication record.
