Eamonn Elliott

Eamonn Elliott is a Senior Lecturer and CCRS Co-ordinator at Newman University, specializing in Religious and Catholic Education. He holds a Master's in Education & Professional Studies from Birmingham University and is pursuing a Doctorate in Education (EdD) through Newman University and Liverpool Hope University. His roles include coordinating the Catholic Certificate in Religious Studies (CCRS) nationally and chairing the CCRS Central regional group for England & Wales.

Eamonn’s research focuses on Catholic Education, particularly non-Catholic teachers’ roles in Catholic schools and the implications of socio-political events like Brexit on Religious Education. He has presented at conferences including the Annual Doctoral Conference (2017–2019) and Network for Researchers in Catholic Education events.
