Rev. Dr. Éamonn Fitzgibbon is a Senior Lecturer and Director of the Irish Institute for Pastoral Studies at Mary Immaculate College (MIC), Limerick. He holds roles in both academia and pastoral leadership, including Episcopal Vicar for Pastoral Planning in the Diocese of Limerick. Since 2005, he has coordinated the NOSTRA programme and taught Christology and Sacramental Theology. His research focuses on synodality, pastoral theology, and parish renewal. He led the Limerick Diocesan Synod (2016) and authored/co-authored works on Catholic ministry and church reform. His academic qualifications include a DMin from Milltown Institute/UCD and a GCAP from University of Limerick.
