Drew Wolgemuth

Drew Wolgemuth serves as a PartTime Lecturer of Trombone and Euphonium in the Department of Music, Theatre and Dance at Commonwealth University - Mansfield, where he has taught since 2020.

Wolgemuth's professional focus centers on Brass Performance with specialized expertise in Trombone and Euphonium techniques, complemented by active engagement in Chamber Music ensembles and Music Education pedagogy. His performance background directly informs his instructional methodology.

As a professional musician, he has performed with Tim Zimmerman and the King’s Brass, Baltimore Marching Ravens, Agora Brass Ensemble, and served as principal trombone for the Perrysburg Symphony. He maintains an active freelance career featuring solo performances across central Pennsylvania.

His teaching journey began as a Teaching Assistant at Bowling Green State University and low brass mentor for the Detroit Symphony Civic Youth Ensembles. At Commonwealth University, he conducts master classes at local high schools, during King’s Brass tours, and at Messiah University. He holds membership in the International Trombone Association.
