Doug Rosener is a Professor of Percussion and Chair of the Department of Music at Auburn University. He teaches applied percussion, percussion literature, percussion skills, and Finale techniques, while directing the Auburn percussion ensemble and drumline for the Auburn University Marching Band.

His work spans pedagogy, performance, and ensemble leadership, with the drumline featured on VicFirth.com and the percussion ensemble/steel band appearing on Alabama Public Television. Rosener has performed with major orchestras and tours internationally as a clinician and artist.
As an artist/clinician, he partners with Vic Firth, Remo, and Sabian. He also instructs the Macy's Great American Marching Band for the Thanksgiving Day Parade.
