Doug Pardue

Doug Pardue is an Associate Professor in the Department of Landscape Architecture at the University of Georgia’s College of Environment + Design (CED). He is affiliated with 205 Denmark Hall and can be reached at pardue@uga.edu. His scholarly interests focus on landscape architecture, ecological design, and community-driven projects.

Recent projects include leading a senior studio developing a Biodiversity Action Plan for Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, emphasizing ecological harmony in large-scale infrastructure. He also collaborated with students on a foraging garden design for Project Chimps, a chimpanzee sanctuary in North Georgia. Pardue contributes to CED’s strategic initiatives, including its 2025 Strategic Plan and service-learning programs like Design Charrettes and outreach opportunities.

His work bridges academic research with practical applications, fostering student engagement in real-world environmental and design challenges.
