Dr Donnchadh Murphy is a Principal Clinical Neuropsychologist and part-time Senior Research Fellow at the Peninsula Medical School (Faculty of Health) at the University of Plymouth. He completed his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Plymouth (2017) and post-doctoral specialist training at the University of Bristol (2021). He is a member of the British Psychological Society’s Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists.

Research Focus: His work centers on enhancing neuropsychological assessment procedures for early Alzheimer’s disease through technology and clinical biomarkers. He leads the Computerised Cognitive Assessment (CoCoA) project in neurodegenerative conditions.
