Don Perovich

Don Perovich serves as a Professor at Dartmouth College's Thayer School of Engineering, where he acts as Principal Investigator for National Science Foundation-funded research within the MOSAiC (Multidisciplinary drifting Observatory for the Study of Arctic Climate) expedition.

His research concentrates on solar radiation partitioning through ice covers and ocean heat dynamics, with specific focus on improving sea ice prediction models by studying poorly parameterized Arctic processes.
