Dimitar Gueorguiev is an Associate Professor of Political Science at Syracuse University's Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, where he also serves as Director of Chinese Studies and Director of Graduate Studies for the Political Science Department. He holds additional affiliations with the East Asia Program as a Senior Research Associate and Advisory Committee Member.
