Devaki Monani

Dr. Devaki Monani is a Senior Lecturer in Social Work at the Faculty of Health, Charles Darwin University, with honorary fellow status in Wellbeing and Preventable Chronic Disease. She supervises postgraduate research and contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals through her work on multicultural communities and immigrant settlement.

Her research focuses on Multicultural Policy, Comparative Social Policy, Immigrant Settlement, and Multicultural Communities in Australia. She explores intersections of cultural diversity with health outcomes, legal services, and socioeconomic models in regional contexts.
