Fabiola Barba Ponce

Fabiola Barba Ponce is a Research Fellow at the Department of Accounting and Corporate Governance, Macquarie University. She holds a PhD in Psychology from Macquarie University (2018), an MSc in Management and Social Development from Universidad de Guadalajara (2013), and a BA in Psychology from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente (2006).

Her research focuses on migrant integration, multicultural policies, and the socioeconomic adaptation of immigrant communities. Key projects include Food Moves Skills Into Migrant Women (2021–2022) empowering refugee women entrepreneurs, and AntiPort (2019–2020) addressing mobile number scam prevention.
