Dr. Denish Shah is the Barbara and Elmer Sunday Professor and Associate Professor of Marketing at Georgia State University's Robinson College of Business. He serves as Founding Director of the Social Media Intelligence Lab and Executive Director of the Marketing RoundTable, with a secondary appointment at the Institute for Insight. His research bridges marketing strategies with financial outcomes, digital technologies' impact on marketing practices, and social impact initiatives. Dr. Shah holds a Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut, an MBA from École nationale des ponts et chaussées (France), and a B.E. from Mumbai University.
His research has been published in top journals such as the Journal of Marketing Research, Harvard Business Review, and Marketing Science. Notable achievements include the 2018 Varadarajan Award for early-career impact in marketing strategy, the 2015 MSI Young Scholar recognition, and seven teaching excellence awards.
