Dean McNeill is a Professor and Head of the Department of Music at the University of Saskatchewan, where he has taught jazz and classical trumpet for over 25 years. He is an award-winning musician and composer with a focus on Jazz Composition, Improvisation, and Interdisciplinary Arts. McNeill also serves as Artistic Director of the Saskatoon Jazz Orchestra (SJO), leading innovative collaborations across music, math, and visual arts.
