Kevin Dean is Professor of Jazz Studies at McGill University's Schulich School of Music. An accomplished trumpeter, organist, and composer, he helped establish Canada's first university-accredited jazz studies program and designed McGill's jazz curriculum. His professional performance career spans collaborations with jazz luminaries including Jimmy Heath, Benny Golson, and Joe Henderson.
