David Taylor

David Taylor is a Principal Lecturer in Entrepreneurship at Manchester Metropolitan University Business School, with over 20 years' experience developing enterprise education programs. As Faculty Lead for India and Subject Lead for Enterprise, he designs curricula that blend theoretical and practical entrepreneurship education, including the Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship.

Taylor's research examines how enterprise education develops social responsibility and ethical business practices. He has received national recognition for pedagogical innovation, including the National Educator Award for excellence in enterprise education. His international collaborations include Erasmus+ partnerships with Christ University Bangalore focusing on staff/student exchanges.

Taylor coordinates student enterprise initiatives including Young Enterprise Start-Up projects and FLUX500 competitions, leading Manchester Metropolitan to national championships. Community engagement includes anti-slavery policy integration and local economic development partnerships.
