David Quigley

David Quigley is an Irish pianist and educator serving as Piano Tutor at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire (Birmingham City University) and piano faculty at the University of Birmingham. He maintains an international performance career spanning Europe, USA, and Asia, with appearances at Carnegie Hall New York, Musikverein Vienna, and Concertgebouw Amsterdam as both recitalist and concerto soloist with orchestras including the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland and Ulster Orchestra.

Quigley's artistic focus centers on piano performance with specialization in Irish repertoire and chamber music. His critically acclaimed 2022 album 'The Fair Hills of Eire: Irish Airs and Dances' exemplifies his dedication to Irish musical heritage, alongside recordings of Northern Irish composers like Philip Hammond. He actively promotes music education through co-founding Newry Chamber Music, which delivers concerts and educational projects in his native region.
