David Hunt is an Associate Professor in the Department of Social Sciences at Augusta University's Pamplin College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Illinois at Urbana (1996), an MA and BS in Sociology from Brigham Young University (1991, 1988). His research focuses on criminology, education, and sociology, with notable work on police practices, online teaching dynamics, and school reform programs.
