David Fetzer

David Fetzer, M.D., is Associate Professor and Medical Director of Ultrasound at UT Southwestern and Parkland Hospital. His translational research focuses on quantitative hepatobiliary, renal, thyroid, and lymph node imaging through the CACTUS Lab (Collaborative for Advanced Clinical Techniques in Ultrasound).

Board-certified in abdominal imaging, Dr. Fetzer has contributed to ultrasound guidelines including the LI-RADS framework for hepatocellular carcinoma screening. Recent work examines contrast-enhanced applications for interventional radiology and nephrostogram evaluation. Honors include RSNA research awards and UT Southwestern's Rising Star Award for clinical excellence.
