Prof David Albert Jones is a Professor in Bioethics at St. Mary’s University, Twickenham, and has served as Director of the Anscombe Bioethics Centre in Oxford since 2010. His academic career spans interdisciplinary work in bioethics, theology, and philosophy of medicine.

Prof Jones contributes to policy and ethics guidance through his role as Vice-chair of the Ministry of Defence Research Ethics Committee and as an examiner for the Society of Apothecaries’ Diploma in the Philosophy of Medicine. He co-authored the GMC’s guidance on Treatment and Care towards the End of Life and serves as a Corresponding Member of the Pontifical Academy for Life.
