Daniela Noethen

Daniela Noethen is a Senior Lecturer and Assistant Professor at the Department of People Management and Organisation within Esade Business School, part of Universitat Ramon Llull. She is affiliated with the Leadership Development Research Center (GLEAD). Her research focuses on expatriation challenges, cross-cultural psychology, gender bias in expatriate selection, and organizational behavior. She has contributed to understanding expatriate performance dynamics and HR policies in global contexts.

Her research outputs span 2007–2020, emphasizing experimental studies on expatriation challenges, selection biases, and organizational success drivers. Notable works include analyses of gender and age discrimination in expatriate hiring and the methodological challenges of international HR research.
