Dan Zettwoch is a Lecturer in the MFA in Illustration & Visual Culture program at Washington University's Sam Fox School. As a cartoonist and information designer, his work explores visual storytelling through graphic novels, screenprinted artworks, and information graphics.
His research examines the intersection of technical information, regional history, and visual communication. Recent publications include 'Missouri Weird & Wonderful' (2023) and educational graphic novels about engineering and technology for First Second Books.
Zettwoch's creative practice involves developing visual systems to explain complex systems and documenting regional cultural artifacts through illustrated narratives.
