Dan W. Safford is an Assistant Professor at Arcadia University in the Department of Physical Therapy, teaching in the hybrid Doctor of Physical Therapy program, transitional DPT program, and Orthopaedic Residency program. He is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), practicing outpatient orthopaedics with Burger Rehabilitation. His research focuses on neural recovery in shoulder pain treatment, funded by the NIH and APTA, as a member of the Arcadia University Shoulder Research Center.
