Crystal Zimmerman

Crystal Zimmerman is the Interim Director of Vocal Music and Instructor in the Music Department at Saint Martin’s University (Lacey, WA), affiliated with the College of Arts and Sciences. She holds a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from Texas Tech University. Her roles include directing the Chorale, teaching applied voice, and maintaining a private studio.

Performance highlights include solo work with the Olympia Chamber Orchestra, Vratsa Symphony Orchestra (Bulgaria), and collaborations with Opera Pacifica and Forza la Femme. Notable stage credits span operas like Die Zauberflöte and musicals such as Once Upon A Mattress, where she served as Musical Director. She has conducted the “Summer Sing” choir and directed Old Maid and The Thief.

Her career includes touring with Broadway Babies and performing under John Rutter at Carnegie Hall. Zimmerman’s teaching emphasizes vocal technique, repertoire, and choral ensemble leadership.
