Monica Adams is an Assistant Professor of Practice and Collaborative Pianist at the University of the Pacific, where she has worked since 1995. She currently directs the University Chorus and serves as a key figure in music performance and theater productions. Adams holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance (Voice) from the University of the Pacific, studying piano under Frank Wiens, voice with William Whitesides, George Buckbee, and John DeHaan, and conducting with William Dehning and Robert Halseth.

Research/Performance Interests: Collaborative piano, vocal coaching, musical theater production, choral conducting, and the integration of music across academic and performance disciplines.
Performance/Creative Work: Adams has performed with the Stockton Symphony Orchestra and sung leading roles in My Fair Lady, Le Nozze di Figaro, and Old Maid and the Thief. She has music-directed and conducted numerous theater productions, including Pajama Game, Paint Your Wagon, Assassins, and Godspell, among others. In 2004, she participated in the SongFest program, collaborating with renowned artists like Martin Katz and Graham Johnson.
Labs/Teams: Directs the University Chorus and oversees musical productions at Pacific.
