Cristina Gaitan

Cristina Gaitán is an Assistant Professor in the MFA Design Program at California College of the Arts. Her practice integrates architectural, visual, and interactive design methodologies to address systemic challenges and ethical implications of technology. Co-founder of design strategy consultancy Escape Velocity and art/design collaborative IF/THEN Studio.

Research explores social dimensions of design, speculative technology frameworks, and human-centered interaction paradigms. Holds an MFA in Interaction Design from CCA and BS in Architecture from University of Virginia.
