Craig A. Punches

Col Craig A. Punches serves as the Dean of the School of Systems and Logistics at the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. He oversees defense-focused professional continuing education programs in logistics, acquisition management, contracting, systems management, software engineering, and financial management, delivered via resident, on-site, and distance learning formats to over 18,000 DoD personnel annually.

Responsibilities:

• Provides cutting-edge education and consulting for Air and Space Force logistics and systems management.
• Interfaces with Department of the Air Force stakeholders to address educational gaps via the Education Integration Cell (EIC).
• Manages course development in areas like cyber operations, data analytics, and life cycle risk management.

Leadership Experience:Commanded the Personal Property Activity Headquarters and squadrons including the 455th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron.
