Crag Hill, Ph.D., is a Professor in the Department of Instructional Leadership and Academic Curriculum and English Education at the Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education, University of Oklahoma. His research focuses on adolescent literatures, classroom discourse, and multimodal composition. He co-edited major works such as Critical Explorations of Canonical Young Adult Literature (2020) and Critical Approaches to Teaching the High School Novel (2019), and authored Teaching Comics Through Multiple Lenses (2016) and The Critical Merits of Young Adult Literature (2014).
His work critically examines race, class, sexuality, and gender identity through literatures for adolescents. He co-founded Study & Scrutiny: Research on Young Adult Literature, a journal expanding critical studies of YA literature. Collaborations span U.S. and international scholars, graduate students, and educators.
