Erin Casey

Erin M. Casey is an Associate Professor of Early Childhood Education in the Instructional Leadership and Academic Curriculum department at the Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education, University of Oklahoma. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Arkansas, an M.Ed. from the University of Houston, and a B.S. from Louisiana State University.

Her research focuses on fostering democratic competency skills in young children through inquiry-based and anti-bias educational practices. She serves in executive roles for the National Association for Early Childhood Teacher Educators and the American Educational Research Association Social Studies Research Special Interest Group.
