Conor Moss

Professor Conor Moss serves as Dean of the College of Business, Technology and Engineering and Dean of Sheffield Business School at Sheffield Hallam University since October 2022. With over 20 years in higher education, he holds a Professorship in Work-Based Learning (awarded 2021). His leadership spans strategic planning, portfolio development, and external engagement, overseeing ~11,000 students across the College.

Key roles include Board memberships with Chartered Association of Business Schools, Olympic Legacy Park Sheffield, and Sheffield Tech Parks. Research focuses on work-based learning, employer engagement, employability, and universities' regional economic impact. Teaching includes executive education programs, business strategy modules, and leadership development.

Publications emphasize work-based learning frameworks, institutional capacity-building, and educational policy innovations. His leadership has driven major initiatives like the renewal of Sheffield Business School and creation of the School of Engineering and Built Environment.
