Chung Kao

Chung Kao is a Professor in High Energy Particle Physics at The University of Oklahoma's Homer L. Dodge Department of Physics and Astronomy. His research focuses on fundamental questions in theoretical physics, including electroweak symmetry breaking, supersymmetry, and dark matter. He holds a B.S. from National Taiwan Normal University (1980) and a Ph.D. from The University of Texas (1990).

His work explores topics such as CP violation, theories with extra dimensions, and the implications of weak-scale supersymmetry for the Higgs mechanism. Recent research includes studies of Higgs boson signatures at the Large Hadron Collider. He is affiliated with the Homer L. Dodge Department of Physics and Astronomy, with an office at NH 341.
